Brightland Ice Wine Concept
About Brightland Ice Wine
This project was for a product and brand design class while I attended California College of the Arts. We were to each take an existing brand and redesign one of their products. Brightland is an olive oil and vinegar company based in California’s Central Coast. I worked with their idea of fruit-forward products and blended it with their vineyard locations to create a line of sweet ice wines with a central theme of space.
Why Space?
Brightland’s vineyards are nestled in the breathtaking Central Coast of California, with a predominant presence near the enchanting cities of Solvang and Lompoc. Lompoc, renowned for its Air Force Base, has been a hub for missile and rocket launches since 1958, collaborating with entities such as Atlas, ULA, and NASA.
Drawing inspiration from this rich legacy, my aim was to craft labels that exude vibrancy, ignite imagination, and inspire customers to embrace the present while gazing at the celestial wonders above.

Process Work
Below are depicted sketches and to-scale cardboard mockups showcasing concepts for the shipping and gifting container intended for Brightland Ice Wine delivery. The objective was to design a distinctive and slender container that prioritizes both aesthetics and the protection of the wine bottle throughout the transportation process.
